Week 50 BYU baby!
This week was a good one! Here`s a short update! Elder Rueda and I have been working really hard to find people, and the hard work has really paid off. The only problem we have is that it`s really hard to try and bring them to church. So we are trying to think of creative ways to bring them to church. Maybe we`ll have to bring some donuts and try to motivate them a little bit! Hahaha We had a Zone Conference on Friday and it was so awesome! It was very spiritually uplifting and I feel like I gained a TON from it. I am so thankful that I can be motivated every transfer to try and be the best missionary I can be! My spiritual thought comes from Doctrine and Covenants 18 verse 5 which says... 5 Wherefore, if you shall build up my church, upon the foundation of my gospel and my rock, the gates of hell shall not prevail against you. Week 49 Raining Blessings
Mr sunshine finally decided to take a rest from burning Hermosillo and kindly allowed his amigo, Señor Lluvia (Mr Rain), to come along. It has rained cats and dogs a couple of the days here. So it has really cooled down here at times. But it also has been raining blessings! Allow me to elaborate... Johan: Remember Johan? He ended up being baptized, receiving the priesthood, and blessing the sacrament for the first time yesterday!! It was such a special experience for everybody involved. He even attends seminary every day and he is just really progressing well. The ward supports him so much and it´s just what a missionary dreams of! Nubia: Also remember Nubia? The girl that found us on the street running up to us? Yeah...she´s awesome. She came to church with us on Sunday. It was the first Sunday of the month which means Testimony Sunday. So basically, during the message part of the service, whatever person can go up and share their testimony, or a message with everyone el...
