Provo MTC Schedule (2nd)

It's been quite the interesting week. I have my journal on me so hopefully I can include everything that has happened over the week. My time is limited now but should open up sometime between 4-6 mountain time.
Sucks to hear that BYU is awful...glad I'm not there to suffer with ya dad. 

Alright mom wanted me to go through my schedule on a daily basis, sometimes it switches up, but this is the general time.
6:30-Wake Up/shower get ready
7:00- breakfast
7:30- go to classroom and study until class starts
8:30-11:30--class, usually just spanish
11:30-lunch
12:15- language study
2:40-3:40-- exercise time
4:30--dinner
5:15-- personal/companionship study until class
6:15-9:15-class
9:45-quiet time/get ready for bed
10:30- bedtime


Nothing too exciting, but pretty busy. I don't know how it'll be in Mexico, but we will find out sooner or later.

We read in Luke 22 about Jesus Christ atoning for our sins and suffering all pains, agonies, and heartbreaks for all of humanity in the Garden of Gethsemane. While he is suffering, he says to the Father (or God), "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."  Or in other words, Jesus was asking the Father to "remove [the] cup" from him so He could stop feeling the agonizing pain. But, He was willing to endure if it meant He was doing what God needed Him to do. Now I will never feel the pain or agony or heartbreak or any of the things that Christ felt in that Garden, but right now....I feel  what can maybe be considered a fraction of what He felt. As of last night, the church is sending home all foreign missionaries who are serving in Mexico due to Corona Virus concerns. 74 Week "I only love my bed and my momma...I'm sorry!!!

This past week was a bit of a rough one....it's not everyday that a missionary gets sick on his mission. It's even worse when you can't leave the house for a few days cause you can't do a whole lot except.....well...recover! But I'm feeling better and we're back on the grind so it's all good! Here's a few things about Caborca that one should know... 1) Imagine that you are in the middle of no where in the desert, and you see a random city....That would be Caborca 2) Caborca is super famous for their world class Asparagus. There's a bunch of farms here and a ton of people work on them. We are in harvesting season right now so it's pretty hectic. 3) In case I haven't mentioned before, it's the straight desert here. So we are always having to be careful with the flying sand and dust that's in the air. 4) People say the best tortillas are from Caborca....they're good don't get me wrong....but all of Sonora will have s...

75 Elder McGregory is back

What's good?! Just wanted to give a quick update! Elder McGregory: So if y'all remember my good ole days in Magdalena, I was (somewhat) commonly known as Elder McGregory (nicknaming after the boxer/fighter Conor McGregor). Now it has come full circle...allow me to explain... Bobby: One day this random dude calls us up and just says, "Elders, my name is Bobby and I want to get baptized." We stopped whatever we were doing and met up with him immediately. He told us he has taken the lessons for 3 years but had never felt prepared until now. He lives in the area of the sister missionaries, so we passed the reference. It also turns out (oh by the way, this guy is HUGE) that this Bobby dude is the owner of a boxing gym. He always says that we can go to his gym whenever we want.
