Week 14 Merry Christmas...Feliz Navidad
Sorry this will have to be short because all but like 1 or 2 of the cybers in Nogales are closed and it took us forever to finally find one just to find out it´s gonna close in probably 10 minutes...
Anyways, I am not sure if I can make a skype account now because I will need a cell phone. But I´m gonna try and use the one we have. If not I´ll try and go to a member´s house and I could use their computer or something. But tell me your Skype account name just in case.
This week was pretty fun, short, long, and crazy all at the same time. It started out with splits with Elder Anderson (a zone leader) from Ogden, Utah. Man it was so fun to be in Magdalena with him. He is super funny and a good missionary. Always a good time when you´re with a gringo.
We had a combined zone Christmas party and devotional with all the missionaries in Nogales and Agua Prieta. President and Hermana Myers are so fun and amazing. Definitely grateful for them. We also had a secret santa exchange and I got a pretty cool blue tie from Elder Brautigam who is from Brazil. I also received a ton of letters and packages so thank you guys!!
We did some contacting on Friday which is always rough, especially around Christmas. I was so homesick. That was just a tough day all together.
Saturday we went to Imuris for a ward party and devotional. We sang some Christmas hymns and ate a ton of food. Then we sang some karaoke. After a mediocre performance of ¨The Christmas Song¨ I went to go sit down but the members wanted me to sing more. They loved me singing...haha
Sunday we gave some talks and went to Nogales and here we are. I can provide more details in the call home....I am so excited!!! Love you guys!
Elder Gregory
